Fulton Bank’s Southeast PA Team Supports Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

Recently, the Southeast PA team got into the spirit of giving when they volunteered for the WOGL Loves our Kids Radiothon, benefiting Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). CHOP is the nation’s first hospital devoted exclusively to the care of children through research and treatment.

The team staffed the phones during the pledge drive, and JoBeth Mauriello, Regional Consumer Executive, and Jeanine Stewart, Consumer Sales Manager, participated in a radio interview with WOGL to discuss Fulton's emphasis on giving back to the community.

“It was so heartwarming to participate in this event, knowing that our efforts are helping children to lead happy, healthy and full lives,” Mauriello said. “CHOP is a renowned health care facility in Philadelphia and beyond, and we are so proud to support them and the children and families they serve.”

Fulton was a leading sponsor of the event, and presented a $15,000 check to CHOP.

About CHOP:

  • CHOP is ranked as one of the top three Hospitals for Cancer, Diabetes & Endocrinology, GI Surgery, Neonatology, Orthopedics and Urology
  • There are more than 1.3 million outpatient visits each year at CHOP
  • An average of one ambulance per hour arrives at CHOP's emergency room. CHOP provides financial assistance to eligible patients, giving children from all economic backgrounds a fighting chance at a healthy future
