Miguel Ruiz joined Fulton Mortgage Company in August 2026 as a Mortgage Loan Officer, bringing more than 27 years of mortgage industry experience helping individuals and families achieve homeownership. He is passionate about simplifying the mortgage process and providing clear guidance that empowers borrowers to make confident decisions from application through closing.
Miguel specializes in helping a wide range of borrowers, including first-time homebuyers and those utilizing FHA, VA, Jumbo, Construction, and affordable housing loan programs. He is experienced with NJHMFA, ACIA, and NJ Community Capital programs, as well as 100% financing options, helping clients identify mortgage solutions that align with their financial goals and homeownership dreams.
What Miguel enjoys most about mortgage lending is helping clients feel clear, confident, and supported throughout every stage of the mortgage process. He believes education and communication are essential to a successful experience and takes pride in explaining each step, coordinating the right solutions, and ensuring borrowers have the information they need to move forward successfully.
What sets Miguel apart is his combination of extensive mortgage expertise and customer-focused service. He brings end-to-end mortgage experience in lending, processing, pipeline coordination, and compliant lending practices, along with more than 25 years of customer-facing sales experience. As a bilingual professional fluent in both English and Spanish, Miguel is able to serve a diverse client base while building strong relationships with real estate professionals, community organizations, and referral partners. Known for being responsive, proactive, and solution-oriented, he works diligently to ensure clients feel supported from application through closing.
Miguel chose a career in mortgage lending because he enjoys turning a complicated process into clear, manageable steps that help people achieve the dream of homeownership. With decades of experience, he brings energy, focus, and a commitment to follow-through from the first conversation to the closing table.
Outside of work, Miguel enjoys working out, spending time at the beach, being with his son, learning new things, and exploring the beauty and diversity of the world around him.
