Amanda Gonzalez-Diaz moved to the U.S. from Cuba at the age of eight. As a first-generation college student, she received the Fulton Bank Diversity scholarship in 2018.
Amanda actually joined the Fulton team during her college years as a bank teller giving her the opportunity to help fund her education, while learning the basics of the business. Upon graduating from Kutztown University in May 2022 with a degree in marketing, Fulton Bank hired Amanda as a Traditional Management trainee. She completed her first rotation with the retail/small business e-strategy team during the summer of 2022 before playing a key role in Fulton’s partnership with the United Way of York County to help manage their annual fundraising campaign.
“The United Way campaign project has been so fulfilling. This experience has not only enabled me to leverage my marketing degree, but it’s provided me with an opportunity to have a genuine impact on the lives of others,” said Amanda.
In addition to her work at Fulton Bank, Amanda also runs her own beauty business where she applies her on-the-job training, marketing and management experience.
Amanda’s favorite part of working at Fulton is the company’s commitment to community, diversity and inclusion, and its focus on the well-being of ALL employees.
